Steven Baric has handled over 200 jury trials, including dozens of serious felony and complex civil trials. Mr. Baric brings decades of experience as a former prosecutor, a general counsel in private business, an elected city council person, a political consultant, and a trusted lawyer to all aspects of his work. Due to his experience on many high-profile cases, Mr. Baric is adept at handling cases which attract significant publicity.

Unlike most trial lawyers, Mr. Baric has significant experience as an appellate advocate before the California Courts of Appeal and the California Supreme Court.  

In addition to maintaining an active trial practice, Mr. Baric is a go-to government affairs lawyer.  He regularly represents parties before state and local governments. Recently, Mr. Baric successfully guided ACI Jet OC through a three-year competitive bidding process involving a $200 million contract at John Wayne Airport.  Mr. Baric advises public officials, political candidates, PACs, and campaigns on election laws and regulatory compliance, matters on which he is an acknowledged expert. Mr. Baric was recently recognized by the Orange County Register in its “insiders” guide to Orange County.  

In all matters, Mr. Baric is renowned for his determination and calm demeanor under pressure, qualities he honed prosecuting the toughest hard core criminal street gangs as a member of the elite TARGET Gang Task Force. Mr. Baric was honored by Mothers Against Drunk Driving awarded with the prestigious Diligent Prosecutor Award.

Mr. Baric is a frequent guest speaker on local and national media and before business and political bodies, including the California Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
