Ms. Núñez’s career includes significant experience with established Southern California law firms. As a trial paralegal with Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Haluck, LLP, and Macdonald | Cody, LLP, she worked directly with regional counsel and trial attorneys defending high-exposure liability claims involving a Fortune 500 national retailer. Her responsibilities included identifying viable defense strategies, developing trial themes, and providing second-chair trial support — experience that gave her a thorough understanding of complex corporate litigation and the strategic demands of trial practice.
Raised in Mecca, California, a small agricultural community in the Coachella Valley, Ms. Núñez is the daughter of a citrus ranch foreman. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Irvine, in 1999. While building her litigation career, she pursued a long-held ambition to study law: she passed California’s First-Year Law Students’ Examination, earned her Juris Doctor from California Desert Trial Academy College of Law in 2022, and passed the California Bar Examination in 2025.
A native Spanish speaker, Ms. Núñez brings a bicultural perspective to her work and believes that advocacy is a responsibility to ensure that parties are heard, treated fairly, and afforded meaningful access to justice. Her approach combines thorough preparation, sound judgment, and compassion for those she serves. Outside the firm, she serves as President of Girls Fastpitch Santa Ana, a nonprofit youth softball organization, creating opportunities for young athletes throughout her community.
